Big E Gluten-Free Food (16 Options)

As a New Englander, I always get excited when the Big E rolls around. Every September we can enjoy music, rides, shows, and so much more. But let’s be honest, you’re here because of the food!

There are plenty of options if you have celiac disease, or follow a gluten-free diet. In the sections below I’ve listed all places by name, menu items, and their location.

I’m sure I missed a few, because there are dozens of vendors at the Big E. I’ll continue to update this list as new vendors arrive each year.

What is the Big E?

The Big E, formally known as the Eastern States Exposition, is an annual event that begins on the second Friday after Labor Day and runs for 17 days.

The fair is held in West Springfield, Massachusetts and it’s the third largest agricultural fair in the entire country.

The Big E includes all six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
